Oh Christmas Tree!

20/11/2015

Here's a little blog post just about Christmas Trees. I'll add ideas as I go along and see how many creative ways I can find to make a Christmas Tree. Hopefully the ideas will be suitable for creative fingers of all ages :-)

The cards in the image above were made by upcycling old doodles - we cut them into tree shapes and added glitter and mini pom poms!

modern map christmas tree
This triangular tree was made by folding the map in half, vertically, and cutting the branches out. Plus sequins

Torn washi tape. So easy. I'm way behind with this trend!
tree shapes cut from doodle books
I cut these simple tree shapes from patterned colouring in pages, the kids coloured them in with oil pastels
matisse inspired modern art trees

These modern abstract tree shapes were cut out using coloured papers, a nod to Matisse. It was fun arranging them and glued down they make great modern art Christmas cards
