Well, it's September now and I can see the horse chestnut leaves starting to turn a shade of orange.
Autumn is on it's way bringing lots of creative opportunities to explore! I've just prepared these leaf prints to do with patients at a hospital where I run art sessions.
The effects are great and the technique is really simple.
Use a polystyrene pizza base and draw your leaf shape, pressing down hard.
Paint over your drawing - acrylics work best so make sure you have aprons on!
Place the painted side face down onto some paper and press down hard with the palm of your hand, or a small roller if you have one.
Lift gently off - done! Keep on printing and experimenting.
You can wash the print block and use it over and over again.,
Have fun!
