Make this beautiful fingerprint blossom lantern - free activity
This lantern is pretty simple for kids to make with a little help.
Print off a template and use pink and gold paint to fingerprint the blossom. When it is dry you are ready to make the lantern. The best step by step picture instructions I found online was at Aunt Annie's Crafts_ ![]()

Here's a fun activity to relax and experiment with.
Explore mark making, pattern, line and texture. I worked the example monochromatically with a few black pens of varying nib thickness and just began to doodle without thinking too much. Great for aiding concentration and developing fine motor skills. ![]()

The Year of the Horse Have a go at colouring this hidden horse - it works well as a doodle - the whole family can have a go! You can fill the shapes with solid colour or pattern, or collage it with magazine cut outs etc, depending on the age of your artists. Older children can make it more challenging by exploring colour palettes, pattern and texture.
