Are you looking for a bit of healthy Halloween food and decor among the mountain of sweet treats? We had great fun carving out this watermelon and adding pineapple chunks to the vomit - and the kids actually ate it all! The eyes were made with banana and olives attached with a cocktail stick. It was surprisingly easy and quick to do. The watermelon went on to eat the mini orange 'pumpkin' |

Here are some of my kids favorite 'making' ideas that we created together


Trick or Treat Goodie Bags!
We bought brown paper sandwich bags and experimented with
potato and apple printing. When the paint dried, we drew the black face features on with a black marker pen. The text was added with a stencil.

Peanut shell Finger Puppets
These were a great hit at home. Break off the bottom of the shell.
Paint them orange for pumpkins, or white for ghosts. When the paint is dry, add features with a black marker pen. Put them on your fingers!
